Lagård cemetery, Cemetery in Stavanger Municipality, Norway.
The cemetery spans 45,000 square meters and features two distinct sections connected by a tunnel, with multiple entrances from surrounding streets.
Established in 1834, the cemetery underwent expansions in 1868 and 1882, requiring the relocation of 300 graves due to railway construction in 1875.
The cemetery contains 2,828 documented memorials, including the graves of notable figures such as John Norem, Henry Imsland, and Alexander L. Kielland.
Located across from Stavanger Train Station, the cemetery manages approximately 80 burials and 70 cremations annually, with parking available at Kirkegårdsbroen.
The cemetery maintains its original kerbstone enclosures around burial plots, representing one of Norway's few preserved examples of this traditional design.
