Voss Gondol, Gondola lift in Voss, Norway
The Voss Gondol stretches across 2020 meters, carrying passengers from 56 meters elevation to a summit station positioned at 820 meters above sea level.
The 2019 installation of Voss Gondol replaced the previous Hangursbanen system, marking a significant upgrade in the transportation infrastructure of the ski resort.
The gondola provides access to Hangurstoppen Restaurant, which serves local Norwegian dishes made from regional ingredients to 310 guests simultaneously.
Nine cabins accommodate 35 passengers each, operating at 5 meters per second and completing the journey in under seven minutes from Voss station.
The restaurant at the summit presents views of multiple mountain peaks including Gråsida, Hordnalsnuten, and Lønahorgi through its large windows.
