Edward Herbst's palace, Renaissance Revival palace in Stary Widzew, Poland.

The palace features ornate architectural details, grand reception halls, and extensive gardens surrounded by a historic guardhouse and carriage house complex.

Constructed between 1873 and 1891 by architect Hilary Majewski, the palace served as the residence of Edward Herbst, a leading figure in Poland's textile industry.

The palace now functions as a museum, presenting permanent collections that document the lifestyle of 19th-century industrial magnates in Łódź.

Visitors can access the palace museum from Tuesday through Sunday, with free admission offered every Thursday and guided tours available in multiple languages.

The palace underwent extensive restoration between 2011 and 2013, returning the interiors and exteriors to their original 19th-century appearance.
