Dom Krystiana Wendischa

Dom Krystiana Wendischa is a one-story residential building in Stary Widzew with a triangular pediment crowning its entrance at 71 Przedzalniana Street. The structure displays simple proportions typical of early Lodz architecture.

The house was built in 1825 and belonged to Krystian Wendisch, who obtained permission to operate a cotton spinning mill in the area. The building stands as one of the earliest structures connected to the region's industrial development.

The house displays architectural features typical of early 19th-century Polish residential design, showing how people of that era built their homes in this region. Its modest style reflects the everyday building practices of the period.

The building is currently not open to the public, so visitors can only view it from outside in the Stary Widzew neighborhood. The location is easy to find and provides insight into the area's early settlement patterns.
