Palace Park, Historic park in Strzelce Opolskie, Poland

The Palace Park spans 62 hectares with varied landscapes, including artificial hills, ponds, and numerous walking paths throughout the grounds.

In 1832, Count Andrzej Maria Renard sent his gardener Schmidt to London to study park designs before establishing this green space.

The park features a collection of heritage trees, including silver maple, large-leaved lime, yew, tulip trees, ginkgo, and plane trees.

Visitors can access the park through Zamkowa Street and find multiple benches near the central pond with its bird sanctuary island.

The creation of the artificial hills involved hundreds of workers moving soil by wheelbarrows to shape the landscape and create the ponds.
