The Church of the Theotokos of Tikhvin stands at 17A Ignashkin Street, displaying traditional Russian architectural elements with its stone walls and domed structure.

The church construction began in 1784 under architect E.T. Sokolov, with subsequent renovations between 1844 and 1861 by architects K.I. Brandt and A.F. Vidov.

This federal cultural heritage site maintains regular Orthodox Christian services and represents a significant spiritual center for the Tikhvin Eparchy community.
