Mae Charim National Park

Mae Charim National Park spans 432 square kilometers of mountainous terrain within the Luang Prabang Range, featuring dense forests and numerous waterways.

The Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation established this protected area on July 6, 2007, to preserve the natural resources of northern Thailand.

Local communities near the park maintain traditional practices while utilizing natural resources through sustainable methods approved by park authorities.

Visitors can access hiking trails, camping areas, and wildlife observation points through the main entrance, where guides provide maps and safety information.

The Wa River running through the park creates excellent conditions for white water rafting between July and December, when water levels reach optimal heights.
