Sai Ri beach

The soft white sand beach stretches along several kilometers of coastline, with clear waters perfect for swimming and water activities.

The beach has been a central location for maritime trade and fishing activities since the early settlement of Koh Tao island in the 1900s.

Local fishermen maintain their traditional practices along the shore, selling fresh catches directly to beachside restaurants each morning.

Visitors can rent snorkeling equipment, umbrellas, and beach chairs from vendors stationed at regular intervals along the beach front.

The surrounding coral reefs host more than 50 species of fish, making it one of the most diverse marine ecosystems in the Gulf of Thailand.
