Senkevychivka occupies 2.34 square kilometers of land in the Volyn Oblast region, with residential areas surrounded by agricultural fields and natural landscapes.

The settlement belonged to Polish territories until 1940, when it became part of the newly formed Horokhiv Raion within the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.

Local residents maintain traditional Ukrainian agricultural practices, contributing to the regional farming heritage through seasonal cultivation and harvest celebrations.

The settlement operates under postal code 45750 and follows Eastern European Time, with a population of 1,290 residents recorded in 2018.

After the 2020 administrative reform, Senkevychivka transitioned from Horokhiv Raion to become part of the expanded Lutsk Raion jurisdiction.
