Central Scherbakov Park of Culture and Leisure

Central Scherbakov Park is a sprawling green space in Voroshylovskyi District that spreads between major streets with walking paths winding through trees and open areas. Water features dot the landscape, and visitors can rent boats to explore the ponds while mechanical rides operate throughout the grounds.

This public space was established in the 1930s through a large community effort and initially held a different name before receiving its present designation. The renaming reflected shifts in the region's historical narrative.

The pedestrian bridge spanning the main pond is where locals gather to walk and enjoy views across the water. This crossing has become a central meeting point where people pause and take in the surroundings.

The park operates throughout the day in different seasons and contains various activities suitable for different times of year. Wearing comfortable shoes helps since there are numerous pathways to explore.

The grounds contain a large rose garden planted with thousands of blooming roses in various colors that visitors often photograph. Additionally, a Japanese-style garden with artificial water features provides another area with distinct landscaping separate from the main park design.
