Stourhead, Palladian mansion in Wiltshire, England.

The Stourhead estate spans 2,650 acres of land, featuring a grand 18th-century mansion surrounded by gardens, farmland, woodlands, and a central lake.

After Henry Hoare I purchased Stourton Manor in 1717, architect Colen Campbell designed the new Palladian house, completing construction between 1721 and 1725.

The house displays Henry Hoare II's art collection in the Italian Room, including notable paintings and sculptures from prominent European artists.

The National Trust operates Stourhead House, opening the gardens from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and the mansion from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with seasonal variations.

A devastating fire in 1902 gutted the interior of Stourhead House, leading to a complete reconstruction that preserved the original architectural design.
