The Castle of Mey is located on the north coast of Scotland, about 6 miles west of John o' Groats.
Built between 1566 and 1572, the castle was in the possession of the Sinclair family for over three centuries.
The castle is known for its beautiful walled gardens and animal centre, which houses a variety of local Scottish wildlife.
It's open to the public from May to September, with private tours available outside these months.
The Castle of Mey is the only castle in the care of The Queen Elizabeth Castle of Mey Trust.
