York Cottage, Royal residence in England
York Cottage is a house in the grounds of the Sandringham Estate, in Norfolk, England.
It was the home of King George V and Queen Mary after their marriage in 1893.
The cottage has been described as 'three Merrie England pubs joined together', reflecting its quaint appearance.
Today, it is used by the estate's head gardener.
Despite being a royal residence, York Cottage is notably small and unpretentious.
