Oronsay Priory, Medieval priory ruins on Oronsay Island, Scotland.

The stone ruins of Oronsay Priory include a church, cloister, chapter house, and refectory standing on a tidal island in the Inner Hebrides.

John of Islay, Lord of the Isles, established this Augustinian monastery in 1353, which operated until the Scottish Reformation in 1560.

The Prior's House displays thirty medieval grave stones with intricate carvings, including effigies of MacDuffie chiefs and sailing vessel motifs.

Access requires crossing The Strand from Colonsay during low tide, with parking available at Garvard at the southern end of B8085.

The Oronsay Cross, a late medieval high cross near the narthex, features crucifixion scenes and commemorates Prior Colin who died in 1510.
