Elin's Tower, Grade II listed observation tower in Trearddur, United Kingdom
The stone Victorian tower stands 27.5 meters tall with crenellated parapets, large windows, and a characteristic design incorporating local masonry techniques.
Built between 1820 and 1850 for the Stanley family of Penrhos, the tower was named after Elin, the Welsh wife of politician William Owen Stanley.
The tower functioned as a coastal observation point during both World Wars before transitioning into an RSPB information center for nature education.
Visitors can access educational materials about local wildlife, purchase items at the shop, and enjoy refreshments at the integrated cafe.
The tower provides direct views of South Stack lighthouse and serves as a monitoring station for observing seabird colonies in the surrounding nature reserve.
