Greenwich Castle, Tudor fortress in London
Greenwich Castle was a small moated building in Greenwich Park.
Originally constructed in the 1420s during the reign of Henry VI.
The castle was demolished to make way for the Royal Observatory in the 17th century.
No visible remains can be seen today, but the site is within Greenwich Park.
It is reputed that Henry VIII stayed at the castle when he married Anne Boleyn.
