Prince Henry's Room, House museum at Inner Temple Gatehouse, Fleet Street, London, England
The first floor of 17 Fleet Street contains a decorated Jacobean plaster ceiling with the Prince of Wales feathers and initials PH clearly displayed.
Built in 1610 as the Prince's Arms tavern, this Grade II listed building stands as one of few structures that survived the Great Fire of London in 1666.
Samuel Pepys frequented this location in the 17th century when it operated as the Fountain Inn, recording his experiences of wine and singing in his diary.
The building currently houses the offices of the Catalonian Regional Government to the UK and opens to the public only during special events like London Open House Festival.
The ceiling features original Jacobean wood paneling, a fireplace with wood surround, and leaded lights displaying historical coats of arms throughout the room.
