Sandys Row Synagogue, Orthodox synagogue in Bishopsgate, East End of London, England

The rectangular Sandys Row Synagogue features a women's gallery along three walls, clerestory windows, and a Neoclassical Torah Ark in an apse.

The building, constructed in 1766 as a French Huguenot church, transformed into a Baptist chapel before Jewish immigrants acquired it in 1867.

The synagogue maintains traditional Orthodox Jewish services, with regular weekday prayers and biweekly Sabbath gatherings for the local Jewish community.

Mincha services occur daily except Friday, starting at 1:30 PM during winter months and 1:40 PM throughout summer.

After the destruction of the Great Synagogue during World War II, this Grade II listed building became London's oldest existing Ashkenazi synagogue.
