St Swithun's Church, Brookthorpe, Grade II* listed Anglican church in Brookthorpe, England
The limestone church features a two-stage tower with a saddleback roof, lancet windows, and louvred bell openings in English Gothic architecture style.
Built in the 13th century, St Swithun's Church underwent modifications including the addition of a north aisle during a substantial restoration in 1892.
The interior contains a 17th-century octagonal font, an 18th-century timber pulpit, and numerous 19th-century stained glass windows displaying religious artistry.
The church stands approximately 4 miles south of Gloucester and 4.5 miles north of Stroud, accessible via the A4173 road with parking available.
A chronogram inscription in the porch conceals the date of King Charles I's execution in 1649, while the chancel holds a memorial by artist Eric Gill.
