Steven's Eyot, River island in Kingston upon Thames, England

Steven's Eyot extends as a narrow strip of land in the River Thames, positioned 660 meters downstream from Kingston Railway Bridge.

Originally mapped as four separate islets in 1875, the island received its name from a local boatman who lived in a cottage at Canbury Gardens.

The Small Boat Club, established in 1953, maintains operations on the island and manages moorings for its members along the riverbank.

Mooring facilities include 60 meters of bollards, with access available through arrangements with Small Boat Club representatives who collect fees.

Red warning flags signal strong stream conditions, requiring boats to adjust navigation patterns between Teddington Lock and Kingston Railway Bridge.

Location: Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames
