Penrhos Feilw Standing Stones

The two prehistoric monoliths stand 3 meters tall, positioned 3 meters apart, with a width of 1 meter at their base and 20 centimeters thickness.

Archaeological studies indicate these standing stones date back between 3,500 and 4,000 years, marking an important location for Bronze Age ceremonies.

The stones align on a northeast to southwest axis, providing views toward Holyhead Mountain and connecting to nearby prehistoric settlement remains.

Located 2 kilometers from Holyhead, visitors can access the stones through a kissing gate, with parking space available for one vehicle.

Local archaeological records mention the discovery of a stone cist containing bones and weapons between the stones, though physical evidence remains undocumented.
