Glensheen Historic Estate is a mansion located on the shore of Lake Superior.
Built between 1905 and 1908, the estate was commissioned by Chester A. Congdon.
The mansion is noted for its early 20th-century Jacobean architectural style.
It is now operated as a historic house museum by the University of Minnesota Duluth.
The estate includes a 39-room mansion and a collection of outbuildings.
