The Lower Humbert Covered Bridge is a picturesque wooden bridge with a Burr arch truss design.
This bridge, located in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
Covered bridges are symbols of Americana and are often associated with the country's pioneering spirit.
Though no longer open for vehicular traffic, the bridge remains a scenic spot for visitors.
It is one of the few remaining covered bridges in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
