Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Historic battlefield in New Jersey
Monmouth Battlefield State Park spans over 1,818 acres of land.
The park is the site of the Battle of Monmouth, fought during the American Revolutionary War on June 28, 1778.
Reenactments of the battle are held annually at the park.
The park includes a visitor center with exhibits about the famous battle.
It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1961.
