Orange Stage, Main stage at Roskilde Festival, Denmark
The Orange Stage structure spans 1,000 square meters with a height of 35 meters, making it visible from all areas of the festival grounds.
The stage originated in 1978 when organizers acquired the canopy structure previously used by The Rolling Stones during their European tour.
The Orange Stage hosts performances across multiple genres, from rock and metal bands to electronic artists and contemporary pop musicians.
The open field in front of the stage accommodates 60,000 spectators with designated zones for standing areas and emergency access points.
Following the events of 2000, the stage area implemented new crowd management systems with electronic monitoring and expanded security corridors.
