Glastonbury Tor, Medieval hill and religious site in Glastonbury, England.
The 158-meter hill features a stone tower at its summit, with seven deep terraces carved into its slopes leading to St Michael's Tower.
In 1191, monks from Glastonbury Abbey claimed they discovered the graves of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere within the hill's grounds.
The hill serves as a spiritual center for Christian and pagan communities, who gather for ceremonies throughout the year at St Michael's Tower.
Visitors can reach the tower by following a steep path from the base, with benches placed along the route for rest stops.
Archaeological evidence reveals that the terraces on the hill form a three-dimensional labyrinth, dating back to the Neolithic period.
