Devil's Arrows, Prehistoric menhir group in Boroughbridge, England.

Three tall standing stones made of sandstone form a linear arrangement, with the highest stone reaching seven meters in height.

The stones were extracted from Plumpton Rocks quarry and transported 14.5 kilometers to their current location during the Neolithic period.

Local tradition from 1721 tells that these megaliths represent arrows thrown by the devil toward the town of Aldborough.

The stones are positioned 46 meters from the A168 road, making them easily accessible for visitors exploring North Yorkshire's archaeological sites.

Natural rainwater erosion over millennia has created distinctive grooves along the surface of these sandstone monoliths.
