Yorkshire Museum, Natural history and archaeology museum in York, England.

The Yorkshire Museum exhibits extensive collections of biological specimens, geological artifacts, and archaeological discoveries across multiple specialized galleries within a Greek-style building.

The Yorkshire Museum, established in 1830 by the Yorkshire Philosophical Society, represents one of the earliest purpose-built museum structures in England.

The museum maintains four permanent collections of national importance, including biology with 200,000 specimens and archaeology featuring objects from 500,000 BCE.

The museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday through Sunday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with admission fees ranging from free for children under 5 to £9.50 for adults.

The museum houses the Coppergate Helmet, an eighth-century Anglo-Saxon treasure discovered during excavations in York.
