St Conan’s Kirk, Church building in Loch Awe village, Scotland.
The stone church stands on the north shore of Loch Awe, featuring a combination of Gothic, Romanesque, and Scottish Baronial architectural elements.
Walter Campbell constructed the initial chapel in 1906, later expanding it into a substantial church that received official recognition in 1930.
The Bruce Chapel contains a carved wood and alabaster effigy of Robert the Bruce, reflecting significant Scottish historical connections.
The church maintains regular opening hours for visitors, offering guided tours that explain the architectural details and historical significance of each section.
The interior structure incorporates wooden beams from two former naval vessels, HMS Caledonia and HMS Duke of Wellington.
