Pershore Abbey, Medieval church in Pershore, England

The stone structure features a Norman tower, Gothic architecture, and intricate ploughshare vaulting across the former monks' choir, now serving as the nave.

Founded in 683, the abbey functioned as a Benedictine monastery until 1539 when Henry VIII's forces partially demolished it during the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

The Abbey Church maintains a musical tradition through its Ruffatti organ performances, choir presentations, and regular concerts by the Worcestershire Symphony Orchestra.

The church opens daily for worship services, guided tours, and individual visits, with accessibility features including ramps and designated parking spaces.

The tower contains eight bells, with six dating from 1729, cast by Abraham Rudhall, creating a total weight of 2856 pounds for the largest bell.
