בית ערוסי, Traditional Yemenite house in Kiryat Ono, Israel
Beit Arousi stands as a two-story stone building with traditional Yemenite architectural elements, featuring carved wooden doors and decorative window frames.
The residence, established in the 1980s, became a center for Jewish learning when Rabbi Ratzon Arusi was appointed as the Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Ono in 1987.
The building serves as the headquarters of Halikhot Am Israel movement, hosting regular lectures and conferences about Jewish law and Maimonides philosophy.
Visitors can attend weekly Torah classes and legal symposiums at Beit Arousi, with separate entrances and seating arrangements for men and women.
The library within Beit Arousi contains rare manuscripts and books about Yemenite Jewish traditions, including original works by Rabbi Yosef Qafih.
