Assumption of Mary, Gothic church in Schlanders, Italy
The Parish Church of the Assumption features a bell tower reaching 90 meters, making it the highest religious structure in the Tyrol region.
Following a devastating fire in 1499, the church underwent reconstruction and received its consecration in 1505, marking a new chapter in its existence.
The church displays architectural elements from multiple periods, including neo-baroque modifications and architectural updates from the Jugendstil movement around 1900.
Visitors can attend services on Saturdays at 7 PM and Sundays at 8:30 AM, 10 AM, and 7 PM, with dedicated parking available beneath the church.
The building maintains its original religious function while serving as a Cultural Heritage Monument in South Tyrol, preserving centuries of architectural development.
