Basilica of the Holy Spirit in Przeworsk, Gothic church in Przeworsk, Poland
The basilica features three naves with a central height of 20 meters, crowned by a bell tower containing the 1870-kilogram Sylwester bell.
The construction of this religious complex took place between 1430 and 1473, funded by Rafal Tarnowski and local citizens of medieval Przeworsk.
The church contains a precise replica of the Holy Sepulchre from Jerusalem, complete with authentic rock fragments from the original tomb.
Religious services occur daily, with special Sunday masses scheduled at 6:30, 8:00, 9:15, 10:30, 12:00, 15:00, and 18:30 with Gregorian chants.
This basilica stands as the sole church in Poland dedicated to the Holy Spirit, incorporating both Gothic and Baroque architectural elements.
