Przeworsk is an urban municipality in southeastern Poland that serves as the administrative center of Przeworsk County. The town contains gothic abbeys, a baroque monastery, and the classical Lubomirski Palace representing centuries of Polish architectural development.
Przeworsk received its town charter in 1394 and later came under Habsburg rule beginning in 1772. The town regained independence when Poland restored its sovereignty in 1918.
