Дедёшино

Dedoshino is an estate complex in the Solnechnogorsk region featuring two preserved wings in early classicist style with symmetrical facades, window niches, and decorative wall panels. The structure clearly shows its former importance as a noble residence through its characteristic architectural elements.

The estate emerged in the 16th century and changed hands several times, from the Sukin family through the Romodanovsky, Velyaminov-Zernov, and Golitsyn dynasties. Each family left its mark through changes and additions to the property's structures.

The buildings show a blend of styles left behind by different owners over time, making it easy to see how tastes changed across generations. Walking through reveals how various noble families expressed their preferences in the structures they modified or built.

The estate is registered as a joint-stock company and currently undergoing extensive restoration to preserve its remaining historical structures. Visitors should be aware that the grounds are still in active restoration and access may be limited in certain areas.

The property once contained a horse breeding facility with stables for around 30 horses, decorated with four ornamental chimneys designed as small turrets. These outbuildings show how wealthy the owners were and how much they valued beauty and craftsmanship even in practical structures.
