Собор Покрова Пресвятой Богородицы, Orthodox cathedral in Mineralnye Vody, Russia
The Pokrov Cathedral features nine domes, a bell tower with eight bells, and stands as a two-story brick structure in the center of Mineralnye Vody.
Construction of the cathedral began in 1992 after Metropolitan Gedeon consecrated the site, with the official dedication ceremony taking place on October 14, 1997.
The interior holds a four-tier iconostasis crafted by artisans under Mikhail Sidorenko, with frescoes painted by Moscow artists following academic traditions.
The cathedral holds daily liturgies at 8:00 AM and evening services at 5:00 PM, with a Sunday school operating for children and youth after morning services.
The cathedral houses the relics of Saint Theodosius of the Caucasus, transferred from Saint Michael the Archangel Church in August 1998.
