The 3.1-meter monument stands at 1st Krasnokursantsky Passage 3/5, accessible through the Lefortovo district of southeastern Moscow.
The statue represents the only Cossack monument in Moscow, featuring Platov without mounting his horse, contrary to traditional military monuments.
