Wat Khao Mueang Kao

Wat Khao Mueang Kao is a Buddhist temple complex in Chai Buri featuring multiple pavilions with steeply pitched roofs, ornate finials, and intricate stone details carved throughout the grounds. The structures sit on elevated terrain surrounded by vegetation, creating a secluded setting that feels separate from the surrounding area.

The site developed as a center of Buddhist practice in the region and grew in religious importance over time among local communities. In 1985, it received official recognition as a registered historic site, cementing its place in Thailand's cultural record.
