Art Omi

Art Omi is a nonprofit arts center spanning 120 acres with outdoor sculptures, architectural installations, and multiple buildings throughout Columbia County, New York. A visitor center contains galleries, exhibition spaces, and information about ongoing programs and residencies.

The site was founded in 1992 and transformed a rural property into an international arts destination. A visitor center opened in 2008, expanding the facilities and programs available to guests.

The center draws international creative practitioners each summer who live and work together on the grounds. This gathering creates a place where different artistic disciplines naturally interact and inspire one another.

The grounds are open daily and free to explore, with pathways connecting the outdoor artworks. Visit during warmer months to see all installations and experience the energy of active residencies.
