Belsar's Hill, Archaeological site in Willingham, England.

The pear-shaped ringwork measures 880 feet in length and 750 feet in width, featuring a single bank and ditch system around its perimeter.

The earthwork site, previously known as Alrehede and Belassise, dates back to the period following the Norman Conquest and includes medieval agricultural structures.

The Royal Commission on Historical Monuments of England conducted extensive surveys, documenting the changes in land use from Iron Age through medieval periods.

Located one mile east of the local church at 18 feet above sea level, the site maintains visible preservation of banks reaching 7 feet in certain sections.

The surrounding ditch system, measuring 80 feet in total width, retains moisture throughout its 27-foot span, indicating the original marsh fort characteristics.
