32 Lincoln's Inn Fields, Neo-Jacobean university building in Lincoln's Inn Fields, England
The former Land Registry building features prominent red brick facades with stone dressings and stands across multiple floors at the south side of Lincoln's Inn Fields.
The structure was completed in two phases between 1903 and 1913, following architectural designs inspired by Norfolk's Blickling Hall for the Head Office of HM Land Registry.
The London School of Economics transformed the building into an academic center housing the Department of Economics and multiple research institutions after its 2010 acquisition.
The renovated interior contains Harvard style lecture theaters, study spaces, and a cafeteria, serving students and researchers through its 10,015 square meters of space.
The building received its current name, Sir Arthur Lewis Building, in March 2023 to recognize the London School of Economics' first black academic faculty member.
