Venus de Milo, Ancient sculpture in Greece.

The Venus de Milo is a marble statue depicting the Greek goddess Aphrodite, known in Rome as Venus.

Created sometime between 130 and 100 BC, it was discovered in 1820 on the island of Milos.

Although armless, the Venus de Milo is considered an icon of timeless beauty and one of the most famous works of ancient Greek sculpture.

This masterpiece is currently on display at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

Despite numerous theories, the mystery of the missing arms remains unsolved.
