Aqua Dome
Aqua Dome is a hotel and thermal spa complex in Längenfeld in the Ötztal valley, Tyrol. The facility features twelve thermal basins of different sizes and temperatures, seven saunas, steam rooms, and a comprehensive wellness center with treatment facilities spread across two floors.
The thermal springs in the area were used since the 16th century, with an early bathhouse built to support visitor health. The present-day Aqua Dome opened in 2004 and has grown into the region's major thermal bath complex.
The name Aqua Dome refers to the dome-shaped building design that integrates with the mountain landscape. The thermal facility is woven into local identity and serves the community as a place for wellness and connection to natural healing traditions.
Aqua Dome is easily accessible by car or train, with parking available on-site and a nearby bus station. Visitors should allow plenty of time to explore the various pools and sauna areas at a leisurely pace, as the complex covers a large area.
The water comes from underground springs heated to over 55 degrees Celsius and rich in minerals like sulfur. These natural minerals are regularly added to a special sulfur pool, giving the water its distinctive scent and therapeutic properties that visitors notice immediately upon entering.
