Adaaran Club Rannalhi
Adaaran Club Rannalhi is an island resort in the South Malé Atoll with around 130 rooms, most positioned near the water or nestled among vegetation. Accommodations range from beach bungalows with wooden furnishings to overwater structures featuring glass floor panels for viewing marine life below.
The resort was established in the 1990s and has maintained its simple, nature-focused character since then. Its origins as a retreat for couples continue to shape the offerings and overall feel of the property today.
The name blends local language with the concept of a members' retreat. Daily life on the island shows how guests interact with the natural surroundings through sandy paths and simple wooden structures that echo traditional Maldivian building styles.
The resort is about 45 minutes by speedboat from the international airport and welcomes guests directly at the boat dock. It is easy to explore on foot, with sandy paths and a compact layout that allows quick orientation around the property.
Some bungalows feature glass floor panels that let you watch marine life directly without entering the water. This makes the stay particularly appealing for visitors fascinated by underwater scenes who prefer not to dive or snorkel.
