Museum nostaligisches Landleben

The Museum Nostalgisches Landleben presents thousands of artifacts from agricultural equipment to household items inside a farmhouse from 1766 and adjacent barns.

The Wiedner family started collecting rural artifacts 40 years ago, leading to the museum's partial opening in 2003 to preserve local farming traditions.

The museum forms part of a three-museum complex in Hof bei Straden, including a wedding museum and a healing water museum displaying regional heritage.

Visitors can explore the museum Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with guided tours explaining southeastern Styrian farming methods.

The connected restaurant, Bulldogwirt, prepares traditional Styrian dishes on a wood-burning stove and hosts large flea markets twice annually.
