Z'animoland

The animal park extends over 12 hectares of forest and meadows, featuring 150 animals distributed across thirty different enclosures throughout the grounds.

In 2006, Isabelle and Jerome Maurette transformed an abandoned prehistoric park in Fontirou into a modern animal sanctuary, changing their careers to pursue their dream.

The park maintains an educational focus through its animal exhibits, including species from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, promoting understanding of global wildlife.

Z'animoland welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM, offering natural popcorn at the entrance for feeding selected animals during the visit.

The park established the Mohan association, dedicated to providing a retirement sanctuary for former circus animals, including a group of ten tigers.
