Sumeru Mountain, Tourist attraction in Mueang Samut Prakan District, Thailand.

This architectural replica of mythical Mount Sumeru features towering spires adorned with traditional Thai motifs and gilded elements, surrounded by landscaped gardens and serene ponds within the Ancient City complex.

Built as part of the Ancient City complex to preserve and showcase Thai mythological narratives, this palace faithfully reproduces ancient cosmological descriptions of the universe's center from religious texts.

The site represents Mount Sumeru from Hindu and Buddhist cosmology, symbolizing the world's axis with Tavatimsa at its summit where Indra resides, reflecting deep spiritual beliefs in Thai culture.

Open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, accessible by taxi from BTS Kheha Station, with tickets included in Ancient City complex entry, best visited early morning or late afternoon.

A large sculpture of Anondha, the mythical fish carrying the world on its back, stands at the palace base, creating a physical representation of Thai cosmological legends rarely seen elsewhere.
