Seepromenade

The Seepromenade is a wide pedestrian zone along the lakeshore in Bregenz, stretching between the modern harbor and the festival hall. The path is lined with large trees, flowerbeds, and benches, offering open views of the water and surrounding mountains.

The Seepromenade evolved from a simple fishing area by the lake that gradually became a popular gathering place over time. Today, the path blends old buildings with modern elements, reflecting the long connection between the city and the water.

A special area called Pipeline gets its name from an old underground oil pipeline that once ran beneath it and is now a free beach for swimming and sunbathing. Another highlight is the Sunset Stairs on the pier, a favorite spot where people gather to watch the sky turn orange and red as evening falls.
