Jeřáb rises to 1000 meters above sea level, featuring multiple marked trails through dense forest leading to its peak in the northeastern region.
The summit has served as a critical geographical marker since the 18th century, appearing in military and civilian mapping expeditions of Bohemia.
Local residents maintain traditional celebrations at the summit during summer solstice, continuing practices that date back several generations.
Visitors can access the summit via four marked hiking paths, with the eastern trail offering the most gradual ascent for beginners.
The mountain slopes contain rare specimens of mountain ash trees, which gave the summit its German name Ebereschberg.
