Church of Saint Wenceslaus, Constructivist church building in Vršovice, Czech Republic

The reinforced concrete church features a 56-meter tower, three naves, and rectangular windows that provide natural light throughout the structure's interior.

The Saint Wenceslaus Church, completed in 1930 by architect Josef Gočár, replaced the previous Saint Nicholas Church that became insufficient for the growing population.

The interior space contains four side altars, a Way of the Cross, confessionals, and an organ designed by artists Čeněk Vosmík and Josef Kaplický.

The church stands on Svatopluk Čech Square, accessible via tram stops Náměstí Sv. Čecha and Koh-i-noor in Prague's tenth district.

The building incorporates glass blocks in its tower facade and maintains original geometric forms that demonstrate the principles of constructivist architecture.

The Vrtba Garden displays terraced landscaping from the 18th century. The Strahov Monastery holds medieval manuscripts in its libraries. Modern culture thrives at Kasárna Karlín, a former military base. Gardens like Wallenstein and Kinský offer green spaces with statues and ponds. Religious buildings include the modernist St. Wenceslas Church in Vršovice and the Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn.
